Tell us about your first day walking through the doors at Ten Twenty: My first day I was pretty nervous because I didn't know anyone but Coach Brendan helped me by listening to ghetto rap...haha.
What benefits/accomplishments have you seen/had since joining? The benefits I have seen since I have started is that when I began it helped me with my soccer career tremendously and now the benefits are that i just feel better after every work out even if I'm dead, I feel more accomplished than any other workout I have done.
What are your individual goals? My individual goals are to get better at dubs and toes to bar and just to get more in shape and better as time moves on.
Favorite moment at 1020 so far? My favorite moment so far is getting 205 on back squat PR and honestly just having people cheer me on even when I'm struggling even when it's at 6am, people are always encouraging.
What do you enjoy most about the coaching staff at 1020? I love that the coaching staff maek you feel at home when you are there or that you are part of a team or family and they are all very nice but push you to be your best. They really help you enjoy it!
Words of advice for someone interested in getting started? Words of advice would be to take things slow, one goal at a time! Even being an athlete my whole life and with a lifting background, CrossFit is a very different type of sport but totally worth it when you reach your goals.
Tell us something we don't know about you? Something you don't know about me is that i have two long haired dachshunds! And I love the atmosphere of dogs, it is actually rewarding.
Favorite WOD? When we did HSPU's and Pull-UPs...Sorry I don't remember the name.
Least Favorite WOD? Thrusters and Rowing Machines...again I don't remember the name but pretty much all of them are are do able and are hard but totally worth it. I usually die but love the intensity!
