I started doing CrossFit as my "cardio" for my regular weightlifting. However, after about a week of doing CrossFit I stopped doing my regular workout routine and focused only on CrossFit. To say I'm addicted would be an understatement. It has challenged and pushed me more than any other workout I've ever done and in the short time I've been doing it, I've gotten stronger both mentally and physically. I used to work out to look better, but now I do CrossFit to be better and stay healthy as I creep up in age :)
I had already been doing CrossFit for almost 2 years before coming to CrossFit Ten Twenty and switching boxes is a very hard thing to do because of how close you become with all the members. However, after the first time I worked out here, I never really felt more at home. Everyone was so welcoming and I just felt like I fit in and I'm thrilled to be a part of this community.
I only recently became a Coach so I'm still learning the ways and trying to perfect what I do. I'm loving it so far and the best thing about it is helping out the members and trying to push them to do things they never thought they'd be able to do.
