About Brendan:

I was an athlete at a small High School where I played baseball and basketball.  After I went to college I started regular weight training, which soon became repetitive and dull.  I was looking for a new form of fitness that was actually something I could call a hobby.  Seth Rollins, a professional wrestler, was always talking about this "CrossFit" thing so I decided to give it a try.

I did my first workout at Ten Twenty and after I decided that it had kicked my butt enough to want to come back I soon became hooked without even noticing.  The movements and variety of work that can be done in any given WOD is truly remarkable.  CrossFit is one of those things that you can never perfect.  You can always lift heavier, move faster.  That is why I continue to train at Ten Twenty and that is why people who come in to our box always end up staying.

My favorite thing about CrossFit is the community.  I've met countless new friends at Ten Twenty and meet more every day.  Ten Twenty is family.  A family that sweats, bleeds, curses and PR's together.  And we wouldn't have it any other way!
